【摘要】:Thisisaspecializedbendtestforgrain-orientedsteelnotcoveredundertheprovisionsofTestMethodsE290.Thistestisapplicabletograin-orientedsiliconsteelsuchascoveredinSpecificationsA876/A876Mincommercialthicknessesandwidthsupto36in.[910mm].1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationoftheductilityofgrain-orientedsiliconsteelbyuseofanapparatusknownvariouslyasatinner''sbrake,handfolder,oranapronbrake.1.2Thevaluesandequationsstatedincustomary(cgs-emuandinch-pound)orSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthistestmethod,SIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththistestmethod.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
