【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversflexiblesheetmadefromethylene-propylene-dieneterpolymer(EPDM)intendedforuseinsingle-plyroofingmembranesexposedtotheweather.Thetestsandpropertylimitsusedtocharacterizethesheetarevaluestoensureminimumqualityfortheintendeduse.Thesheetmaybenon-reinforced,fabric-orscrim-reinforced,orfabric-backedvulcanizedrubbersheet.1.2In-placeroofsystemdesigncriteria,suchasfireresistance,fieldseamingstrength,materialcompatibility,andupliftresistance,amongothers,arefactorsthatmustbeconsideredbutarebeyondthescopeofthisspecification.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.4Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
