【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60512,whenrequiredbythedetailspecification,isusedfortestingconnectorswithinthescopeofIECtechnicalcommittee48.Itmayalsobeusedforsimilardeviceswhenspecifiedinadetailspecification.TheobjectofthispartofIEC60512istodetailastandardtestmethodtoassesstheeffectivenessofcontactstoresistdeformation(damage)fromcrimpingoperations.Althoughthistestisintendedforcylindricalcontacts,especiallymachinedcontacts,itisapplicabletocontactswithothergeometriesandconstruction.Inwhichcase,thedetailspecificationshallcontainsufficientdetail,givenunderclause4,toenablethetesttobedone.
