【摘要】:Theashcontentisanapproximatemeasureofthemineralcontentandotherinorganicmatterinbiomass.Theashcontentisusedinconjunctionwithotherassaystodeterminethetotalcompositionofbiomasssamples.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofash,expressedasthemasspercentofresidueremainingafterdryoxidation(oxidationat575x00B1;25x00B0;C),ofhardandsoftwoods,herbaceousmaterials(suchasswitchgrassandsericea),agriculturalresidues(suchascornstover,wheatstraw,andbagasse),wastepaper(suchasofficewaste,boxboard,andnewsprint),acidandalkalinepretreatedbiomass,andthesolidfractionoffermentationresidues.Allresultsarereportedrelativetothe105x00B0;Coven-driedmassofthesample.Forparticulatewoodfuels,TestMethodE1534shouldbeused.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
