【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesacoulometricKarlFischertitrationmethodforthedirectdeterminationofwaterincrudepetroleum.Itcoverstherange0,050%(m/m)to5,00%(m/m)waterincrudepetroleumcontaininglessthan0,05%(m/m)butmorethan0,005%(m/m)ofeithermercaptansulfurorsulfideionsulfurorboth.Itcoverstherange0,020%(m/m)to5,00%(m/m)waterincrudepetroleumcontaininglessthan0,005%(m/m)ofeithermercaptansulfurorsulfideionsulfurorboth.NOTE1Anumberofsubstancesandclassesofcompoundsassociatedwithcondensationoroxidation-reductionreactionsinterfereinthedeterminationofwaterbyKarlFischertitration.However,theonlylikelyinterferingsubstancespresentincrudepetroleumaremercaptansandionicsulfidesandprovidingthattheyarepresentatlevelslessthan0,05%(m/m),theinterferenceisinsignificantwhendeterminingwaterintherange0,050%(m/m)to5,00%(m/m).NOTE2AnalternativeprocedureisprovidedinannexBforthedirectdeterminationofwaterovertherange0,05%(V/V)to5,00%(V/V)incrudepetroleumcontaininglessthan0,05%(V/V)ofeithermercaptansulfurorionicsulfidesulfurorboth.ThelimitationsunderwhichthisalternativevolumemeasurementmaybeusedarelistedinannexB.Thevolumemeasurementmayalsobeusedtodeterminewaterintherange0,02%(V/V)to5,00%(V/V)iftheaboveinterferingsubstancesarepresentatlevelsoflessthan0,005%(V/V)aseithermercaptansulfurorionicsulfidesulfurorboth.NOTE3ForthepurposesofthisInternationalStandard,theterms"%(m/m)"and"%(V/V)"areusedtorepresentthemassandvolumefractionsrespectively.
