【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesarapid,inexpensivemethodforcomparingthecorrosionresistanceofrefractories.Theisothermalconditionsofthistestmethodrepresentthemostseverestaticcorrosionenvironmentpossibleatthespecifiedtesttemperature.Thistestmethodissuitableforqualitycontrol,researchanddevelopmentapplications,andforproductvaluestudiesonsimilarmaterials.Testsrunataseriesoftemperaturesareoftenhelpfulindeterminingtheusetemperaturelimitationsofaparticularmaterial.Melt-linecorrosionresultsarealsoausefulindicationofrelativeresistancetobothupwardanddownwarddrillingcorrosionmechanisms.Examinationoftestspecimensalsoprovidesinformationaboutthetendencyforaparticularrefractorytoformstonesorotherglassdefects.Becausethistestmethodisbothisothermalandstaticandsincemostglass-contactrefractoriesoperateinadynamicsystemwithathermalgradient,testresultsdonotdirectlypredictserviceinafurnace.Theeffectsofdifferingthermalconductivities,refractorythickness,artificialcoolingorinsulationupontherefractorythermalgradient,andtheerosiveactionofmovingmoltenglasscurrentsarenotevaluatedwiththistest.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecorrosionresistanceofrefractoriesincontactwithmoltenglassunderstatic,isothermalconditions.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblemsassociatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
